Commission work of a girl on a waterfall. I used a reference photo that the client sent me, and for privacy reasons won't be showing it. Instead, the process of getting to the final illustration is os the post. All drawn on Adobe Photoshop.
Bellow, the first rough sketch of the drawing on the left. For the sketch I did a shape study, to understand the landscape, the angles and the characters as masses. On the right, the final line art, clean and clear of what all those shapes on the sketch became.
